The Old Coach House in Penpergwm was a lovely property that provided a peaceful and private stay. The location was perfect as it offered a tranquil setting without feeling isolated. We were pleasantly surprised to find that we could easily access amenities, such as getting deliveries from Asda and Amazon without any issues. The layout of the rooms was well-thought-out, with just the right amount of furniture and excellent appliances. The cozy atmosphere, especially with the log-burning stove in the evenings, created a warm and inviting atmosphere. I also appreciated the tiled floor and old-fashioned hat/coat stand, which came in handy on rainy days. Additionally, Rachel, the host, was very pleasant and helpful.
The only drawbacks were that the wifi was not very strong. However, this was not a significant issue for us.

We had a wonderful stay at The Old Coach House. The property provided a lovely private and peaceful environment, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The patio was a great spot to enjoy the tranquility. The layout of the rooms was well-thought-out and the furniture was just right. The appliances were top-notch, making our stay convenient and comfortable. The beds and sofas were super comfy, ensuring a good night's sleep. We also loved the warm and cozy atmosphere, especially in the evenings when we could enjoy the log burning stove. The tiled floor and the "old-fashioned" hat/coat stand were a great addition for drying wet clothes. Rachel, the host, was delightful and always ready to assist us. Another plus was the dog-friendliness of the accommodation, with a secure courtyard for our furry friend. The location was ideal, just a short drive from Abergavenny, where we found plenty of restaurants, shops, and lovely dog walks. we had a fantastic time and we will definitely be back.
Although the apartment is situated on a working farm, we did experience a lot of flies inside, which could be a bit annoying.

We had a fantastic value for our money at The Old Coach House. The room was spacious, well-equipped, and had a lovely enclosed courtyard. The location was peaceful and nestled on a small farm, with easy access to Abergavenny and the stunning natural beauty of the Forest of Dean and Brecon Beacons. The staff, particularly Rachel, were friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.
The only thing that could have made the breakfast better was more variety in the food options.
